The Structures of Soviet-Finnish Economic Relations
Yu V. Andreyev
Chapter 5 in Finnish-Soviet Economic Relations, 1983, pp 53-64 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Relations between states in the world today are permanently experiencing the divergent influence of a whole complex of objective and subjective factors. Some factors exercise a depressing influence: they hinder the development of these or those relations. One of these factors is, for example, the deterioration of the economic business cycle, which, as a rule, limits economic relations, in that it reduces the export possibilities of countries and leads to a restrictive import policy, which, partially because of a timelag, remains in force for some time, even after the transition to a more favourable economic situation.
