Introduction and Summary
John Grieve Smith
A chapter in Strategic Planning in Nationalised Industries, 1984, pp 1-19 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The problems of business strategy facing those public corporations which are customarily referred to as the ‘nationalised industries’, are to a large extent similar in nature to those facing large enterprises in the private sector. We therefore start with a review of the state of the art of strategic planning (Taylor, Chapter 1).
