Chapter 9 in A Guide to Institutional Property Investment, 1985, pp 187-207 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The valuation of real property assets owned by investing institutions is based on the concept of ‘market value’. There is, however, a growing need for a capital valuation method which more accurately reflects the future rental income of property investments. In both this and the following chapters, various approaches to valuation will be examined.
