Concluding Remarks

Chapter 7 in Economic Transition in Hunan and Southern China, 1984, pp 133-137 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We have covered a rather vast ground in this book in the temptation not to lose any information collected or experience gained during our interviews and field trips in the province of Hunan. A short stay in a country as vast as China hardly makes it possible to draw any meaningful conclusions. Nor does the rapidly changing character of Hunan and the Chinese economy.
