Abstract:
Abstract Since the theme of this conference has been the investigation of some of the theories of investment, I will be taking a selection of these theories and showing how they have been applied. I am interested in what is of practical use in solving investors’ problems and, indeed, what is generally acceptable to investors. New ideas are not always readily acceptable in this field. Most people are very cautious when it comes to money, particularly when they are responsible for other peoples’.
