Abstract: Abstract This chapter takes a comprehensive view of the nature and extent of Yugoslav multinationals in both West and South. The analysis covers the ownership structure, scale of operations, and distribution by sector and country. A detailed analysis of motivation, performance and success, and reasons for divestment is provided in subsequent chapters.
