Abstract:
Abstract The argument in Thomas Robert Malthus’s Essay on Population, the first edition of which was published anonymously in 1798, is one of the most dramatic in the history of human thought. It is no wonder that it is a classic not solely of economic thought but of all human writings whatsoever.
