Abstract:
Abstract Let us start with a brief reminder of the evolution which characterized any-to-any communications systems. In the 19th century telecommunications were based first on the telegraph, then on the telephone. After 1945, the telex network substituted for telegraph traffic. Until the 1970s, telecommunications were centred on voice transmission. But all this changed with technological advances made possible by computers and software.
