Abstract:
Abstract Few industries face bigger changes in the next decade than telecommunications. For many years the business has had a cosy life characterized by booming markets, declining costs, high prices and therefore fat profits. All this is now changing as, in many countries, governments see the case for competition following some pioneering deregulation steps taken in the United States.
