The Internationalisation of Dutch Banks: New Beginning and Future Developments
Simon Sijbrands
Chapter Chapter 13 in The Recent Evolution of Financial Systems, 1997, pp 246-269 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As the borders between European nations are fading, the largest Dutch banks are internationalising their business at a steady pace. Revenues coming from outside the Netherlands are increasingly becoming a major financial resource. At first sight their strategy and international scope appear similar, but major differences come to light when taking a closer look.
