Chapter 2 in Intellectual Capital, 1997, pp 28-58 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract We are now entering the least exciting chapter of the book. Unfortunately, to create a correct intellectual capital system, we believe it is necessary to understand what are the different categories and flows of intellectual capital: it is just a question of understanding what we are looking at. Trying to create an intellectual capital system without this understanding would be like flying blind and hoping for the best. In a way, if we resume our navigation metaphor, defining the categories and flows of IC is akin to defining the mountains, hills and rivers of the new terrain.
