Tools and Techniques

Chapter 11 in Profit from Time, 1997, pp 233-264 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Every good change agent keeps a selection of useful tools which can be used as and when the need for them arises. The Time Compression Programme has established its own collection of tools and techniques which we have found useful in time-compressing business processes. Although many of these tools are already prevalent within the business arena, many of them have been specifically developed by ourselves to focus on time and the removal of waste. The objective of this chapter is to introduce these tools, explaining how we have used them and in what context. We hope that this will help you to select appropriate tools for diagnosing your business.
