Designing Value-Creating Capabilities
Alf Chattell
Chapter 2 in Creating Value in the Digital Era, 1998, pp 29-53 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Here is a definition. The Digital Era enterprise is a people-centered knowledge network capable of behaving in ways that make a powerful difference to customers. Those things that are central to a company’s particular ability to make a powerful difference to customers are its capabilities. The overall intelligence of the behaviors that result from its capabilities determine the ability to create value over a sustained period.
