Chapter 8 in Soviet-Type Economies, 1974, pp 201-224 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The revolution in economic thought described in Chapter 7, is only a prelude and accompanying motif to reform of the Soviet-type economy. If these insights are to have any effect on the functioning and performance of the economy, there must be some change in the institutions and procedures that affect decision making. The purpose of this chapter is to survey the changes that have taken place so far.
