Abstract:
Abstract In the last chapter we discussed the general theory of choice. Like general systems theory, which is now becoming increasingly studied, the general theory of choice provides a common set of concepts which apply to consumers’ choices as equally as to producer choices. However, it is now time to turn to some applications and consumer theory is a fitting start because in its early development it was taken to be almost synonymous with choice theory.
