Abstract:
Abstract M. D. Benedict Ltd, was incorporated 2 June 1971 to carry on business as closed-circuit television (CCTV) specialists. The directors and founders of the company were Ali Cameron and Chris Quarton, who held equal shares in it. By January 1974 the company had an order book for £ 100,000 but was in serious need of working capital to fund further growth. (See Exhibit 3.1 for a complete list of events.)
