Chapter 3 in An Introduction to National Accounts Statistics, 1980, pp 36-46 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The tabulation of this chapter are designed to show the way in which GDP at factor cost, or one of its variants, is built up from its main components on the output, income and expenditure sides. They are based on what has been said in 2.5 and 2.6 and on the boxes of Figure 2.5 above. Annual data for 1975 and 1978 from the 1979 Blue Book are used for illustration; the 1975 figures are firm, and those for 1978 provisional. The tabulations come from some of the summary tables of the Blue Book, mainly from Table 1.1 for the expenditure components, Table 1.2 for incomes and Table 1.10 for estimates of output by industry.
