Inflation and the Curve
Tim Hazledine
Chapter 8 in Full Employment without Inflation, 1984, pp 62-68 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The spy satellites monitoring our economies send back pictures which, suitably magnified, reveal about ten per cent of the labour force sitting idly in their backyards, and about ten per cent (or more) of our factories bolted shut and empty. The essence of the last chapter was the argument that there is no reason, in principle, why the idle workers and idle plants should not be brought together again.
