Abstract:
Abstract The striking covariation between the rise of the NSDAP and the increase in unemployment between 1928 and 1933 (Figure 8.1) had led many contemporary observers to postulate a causal link between the two phenomena: unemployment was generally regarded as one of the major determinants of Nazi electoral success.
