Abstract:
Abstract At the very heart of the international financial system are several institutions whose main purpose is to aid in the international payments mechanism. Because of their diverse natures, these entities are difficult to categorise but they do nevertheless share common traits. In a structural sense, their common denominator is a transnational character that spans national boundaries.
