Abstract:
Abstract The oil crisis of the early and mid-1970s triggered or coincided with a number of major developments in the world economy. The slowdown in economic growth in most developed countries which followed the increase in energy prices led firms either to search for substitute forms of energy or to use less energy intensive methods of production.
