Abstract: Abstract It is with some diffidence that I am contributing a chapter on technology transfer, in spite of a close involvement in the development and transfer of high technology between developed countries stretching almost throughout my whole working life since 1954, and my involvement with the Intermediate Technology Development Group as Head of its UK programme since 1980.
