Abstract:
Abstract The Western financial markets experienced total upheaval in the 1980s. The pace of change has slowed a little with recession in several key markets and the banks struggling to contain balance sheet weakness. Nevertheless, a number of key trends continue to shape and reshape the financial world into new patterns.
