Abstract:
Abstract The topic of this chapter is technology transfer by German small and medium-sized enterprises (SME.). In sections 6.1–6.3 we will attempt to give a short overview of the background. Two main themes are discussed in this context: (1) the extent of German technology transfer; (2) the official policy of the German government regarding technology transfer of SME to developing countries.
