Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this article is to compare the structure of foreign market servicing strategies of a number of the world’s leading trading nations. The total foreign sales (TFS) of any nation are made up of its exports (X), sales arising from that country’s foreign direct investments (I) plus licensed sales from exported know-how (L). Thus TFS = X + I + L.
