Abstract:
Abstract This chapter works out the interconnections between the pillars of livelihood: the determinants of peasant actions, coping with food insecurity, the repercussions of the gender relations and labour migration. Peasants’ needs and interests are deduced from the livelihood analysis and policies to improve peasant livelihood security are proposed.
