Chapter 12 in Developing Countries in the WTO, 2001, pp 244-254 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The main conclusion of this volume is that since the early 1980s the integration of the developing countries into the international trading system has been in many ways impressive, but also very uneven. A small number of countries, perhaps 15–20, have made giant strides, both in their institutional integration into the WTO system and in terms of their ratio of trade to GDP.
