Abstract:
Abstract Starting from a historiographical reflection on the complex issue of assistance to abandoned children and reflecting on the continuity and extraordinary topicality of a timeless educational method, we will propose here one of the aspects that united, in the modern age, some particular Italian welfare institutions: the construction of a model of musical education that is still very relevant in some social contexts.
