Chapter Chapter 11 in Corporate Governance in the Banking and Financial Sector, 2025, pp 301-320 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides a review of the extant scholarly research focusing on ESG, asset quality, and the role that financial intermediation can play in shaping this relationship. Since a joint analysis of these three factors is surprisingly scant, the chapter makes an invaluable contribution to the literature by shedding light on the interrelationships to facilitate academic debate on this important topic.
