Chapter Chapter 15 in Contract Farming in Developing Countries, 2025, pp 241-244 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract I conclude with some reflections on the potential of the framework that can be applied to contract farming research. Without doubt, disciplines have boundaries with good reason. The goal is not to smudge those boundaries. Rather the effort is to see if an additive framework such as the one proposed in this book can be operationalized by economists in ways that offer a platform for dialogue with other social scientists. The concluding chapter offers a way forward.
