Chapter 1 in Business Under Crisis, Volume III, 2022, pp 1-17 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract A crisis can devastate an organisation. However, it is important to remember that throughout history, crises have been pivotal in developing societies. Following this line of thought, in this chapter, we explore the possibilities that come with crisis, and how they could contribute towards a more sustainable future. It’s about using the lessons stemming out of a crisis for developing ‘krisis-readiness’ and a long-term operational effectiveness. It’s about prioritising innovation during the crisis to unlock post-crisis growth and sustainability.
