Abstract: Abstract In the Course in Political Economy and in the writings immediately preceding it, Pareto focused his attention, albeit less extensively, on other topics in applied economics such as the demographic question (Sect. 8.1), questions relating to the science of finance (Sect. 8.2), the functional distribution of national income (Sect. 8.3) and economic crises (Sect. 8.4).
