Abstract: Abstract This chapter provides an overview of this book, outlining its contents and helping readers to choose between reading the entire monograph or selected chapters. It summarizes all the chapters in the book, shows how they are interlinked, and explains how readers will benefit from reading the monograph. The chapter highlights the two sections of the book. Eight chapters make up section one, and section two comprises nine chapters. The first section summarizes studies on practical policy discourse on the Blue Economy in Africa, while the second section presents studies on social resilience, coastal livelihood, and climate change in Africa’s Blue Economy.
