Abstract:
Abstract Indexation, i.e. the link of future monetary payments to a price index in intertemporal contracts, can be permanent or temporary, lagged or instantaneous, intermittent or continuous, total or partial in the coverage of money payments, unit-elastic or other than unit-elastic with respect to a price index mutually agreed by the contractual parties, corresponding to a basket selected out of an infinite range of possible baskets.
