Abstract: This study examines the challenges in facilitating foreign investment in Bangladesh’s renewable energy sector, with a focus on Chinese investors. Despite an open investment policy, legal, institutional, and operational hurdles have limited investment growth. The research identifies gaps in regulatory transparency, digital governance, inter-agency coordination, and enforcement of responsible business practices.
