Costs of In-patient Hospital Care for Bronchopneumonia and Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) in Manila

Abstract: Analysis of pneumonia data set shows consistency with current literature of obtaining higher costs in government-owned and higher level facilities. For AMI, higher costs and higher mortality rates are detected in government hospitals. Recommendations based on the findings are offered.
