Several considerations regarding arbitration court’s competence to statute its own competence

Abstract: One of the most important principle from international arbitration, the principle that admits the competence of the arbitrators to statute their own competence („Kompetenz – Kompetenz”) was overshadowed for a long time by another principle, equally important but better shaped, the principle of the arbitration convention autonomy, being considered as a corollary of the latter one.
