New pension system and improvement of fertility in the overlapping generations model

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany
Abstract:
This study examines a new pension system in which pension benefits increase in proportion to the number of children. We demonstrate that transitioning to this new pension system can be achieved as a Pareto improvement. Additionally, we show that under certain conditions, the population may not decline within this system.
