The Implications of Globalization of Banking Sector for Iranian Banking

Abstract:
Financial globalization symbolizes the integration of security markets, global insurances, floating exchange rate regimes, transnational banking. Global finance, global intermediations of payment, liberalization of banking services, global standards, electronic banking and bank and proprietorship mergers that form the major aspects of banking sector. The modernization of banking system improvement of capital adequacy ratio in commercial and specialized banks, reforming the regulations concerning the business of banking services and introducing structural organizational modifications are the urgent necessities of globalization of banking sector for Iranian banking system.
