Abstract: The aim of this research is to evaluate the relative performance of the peruvian economy in relation to its bordering countries since the implementation of the political constitution of 1993 until current time. The paper shows evidence that under the 1993 constitution is observed improvements in the relative performance of the peruvian economy in relation to its bordering countries, this result is maintained even when compared to the previous constitutional period performance.
