Locational Aspects of German Investment in Portugal

Abstract: This paper has the goal of analysing the locational aspects of german investment in Portugal, focusing on the relations between territories and different types of economic activities. Our main focus of analysis will be two surveys made to german companies in Portugal by the Portuguese-German Chamber of Trade and Industry (Câmara de Comércio e lndústria Luso-Alemã / Deutsch-Portugiesische lndustrie-und Handelskammer) in 2008 and 2010.
