Bulgarian labour mobility during the transition to a market economy

Abstract: The globalisation and the intensive economic and social integration incredibly activate people’s mobility. Bulgaria has been facing migration problems with the political, economical and social transformation since 1990, which completely changed the labour mobility environment. As a result, migration flows increase significantly. This fact raises new problems as well as a need for new policies.
