The Impact of Institutional Factors on The Higher Education Competitiveness

Saber Shaker

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany

Abstract: The main aim of this paper to investigate the role of institutional factors on the competitiveness of higher education. the results found that There is a positive correlation between the number of foreign students as a dependent variable and both the number of published scientific research and the quality of institutions, and that each increase in the number of scientific research by one unit leads to an increase in the number of foreign students by three, and the increase in the value of the index of the quality of institutions leads to an increase in the number of foreign students By 9045 students. Of course, the previous results are logical results consistent with the economic theory in terms of direction and number, but it must be borne in mind that the high number of scientific research will be effective only with the quality of such research and its importance in theory and practice, The institutional quality index here is not limited to educational institutions, but it is the quality of all state institutions. It is not necessary to have institutional and legislative frameworks and an integrated system of state in all political, economic, social and legal dimensions.
