The creative industries phenomenon - new oportunity for global economics growth

Abstract: As the economies of Europe and United states had been transformed from an agricultural based to an industry based economic system at the beginning of 20th century so does their current economic system faces an extensive economic and cultural transformation. The main objective of the article is to define and present the notion of creative industry and at the same time inform the reader about the approach of European Union towards that industry. The reasoning in the article is supported by several economic indicators which demnostrate the economic impact of creative industries on the european as well as global economy.
