The Issue of the Current Sport Management in the Czech Republic

Abstract: The article deals with the issues of the present-day sports management in connection with significant changes taking place in the sports environment within the Czech Republic. Besides other things, the author relies on the results of the research aiming at mapping the main problems of the present-day sports management. The research was carried out from 2009 to 2011. The methods which were applied were the methods of qualitative data processing - qualitative analysis, case study and questioning method, specifically an individual interview. There were 139 respondents, managers of sports clubs and organizations within the Czech Republic.
