Marx, Schumpeter et la question de la transition au socialisme

Abstract: [fre] La divergence des raisons avancées par Marx et Schumpeter pour annoncer la fin du capitalisme et le passage inéluctable au socialisme trouve sa source dans l'opposition des deux paradigmes concernant la manière de concevoir le mouvement historique comme produit de «lois de développement» déterminées par les «contradictions» du capitalisme. L'article cherche à reconstituer comment cette différenciation commande deux visions discordantes de l'histoire économique. Il montre que les termes de l'opposition Marx-Schumpeter restent encore aujourd'hui d'actualité, qu'ils constituent notamment un point- clé de la mise en perspective historique du capitalisme contemporain et de la crise actuelle. [eng] The divergence of the arguments put forward by Marx and Schumpeter to proclaim the end of capitalism and the inevitable passage to socialism rises from the opposition of two paradigms about the same proposal : the historical movement is the result of «the laws of development» which would determine the «contradictions of capitalism». This article tries to reconstitute how this différenciation determines two discording outlooks of the economic history. The paper explains that the foundations on which the opposition is built represent a key-point of the historical perspective-setting of the present capita/ism and of the current crisis.
