Working Paper from Economics Department, Queen's University
Abstract:
This paper presents a multiregional intertemporal linear programming model of Canadian gold and base metals production and several sets of empirical results demonstrating its analytical potential. To our knowledge, this is the first national model of Canadian mineral production exhibiting sufficient detail to allow evaluation of the potential economic impacts of developments in one region on the economic potential of others.
