Abstract:
The subject of this round table is policies in support of innovation and competitiveness of Italian firms, whose productivity has been showing low growth rates since the second half of the 1990s. The round table participants discuss the reasons for the slowdown in productivity, examine the situations of other countries, and evaluate the effectiveness of industrial policy in the recent past and the industrial policy measures launched by the government now in power under the name of “Industria 2015”.
