Abstract: Because of a divergence of the farmers' projects caused by questioning regarding the legitimacy of the productivist model, the french network of Cooperatives for the Use of Agricultural Equipement (CUMA) is unsure of the coherence of its organisation. In order to find solutions to these uncertainties, we have designed an analysis framework based on the competence of the cooperative network, by attempting to find out what is the content of the capacities that are necessary for the production of the "service CUMA" and what are the Using capabilities embedded in different organisational levels. We also through federative level. Finally, we will show that the distribution of this network varies according to the nature of the innovation adopted by each cooperative.
