Measuring Unemployment Insurance Generosity

Abstract: that UI has no waiting period and agents are eligible forever. We then determine which level of benefits in the second model makes agents indifferent between both models. We apply this strategy for the unemployemnt insurance program in the United Kingdom to study how its generosity evolved over time.
